1. Hydraulic Drive

A wheel loader sweeper attachment normally uses the loader’s auxiliary hydraulic circuit to power a hydraulic motor, which rotates the brush roller. No separate engine is required for the brush, making the attachment suitable for use with an existing wheel loader.

2.Rotary Brush Sweeping

As the brush roller rotates, the bristles contact the ground and move dust, sand, gravel, leaves and other loose debris in the selected direction. Depending on the debris and ground condition, the attachment may use polypropylene bristles, steel wire bristles or a mixed configuration.

Sweeping performance depends not only on brush speed, but also on travel speed, contact pressure, brush wear, ground flatness and debris moisture.

3.  Angle Adjustment

An angle broom or side-shift sweeper can change the brush direction mechanically or hydraulically. It moves debris toward a road edge, wall, loading dock or designated area, making it suitable for edge and narrow-area cleaning.

4.  Floating Ground Contour

Some sweeper attachments include a floating mechanism, support wheels or a suspension structure. These features allow the brush to follow moderate ground unevenness and help reduce missed areas and excessive wear. Brush contact pressure must still be adjusted correctly, and the support wheels and floating structure should be checked regularly.

5.Water Spray Dust Suppression

6. Quick Coupler Installation
